7 points on my land nav course today. I didnt even look for the other two. I almost looked for one of them and counted my steps from the checkpoint and was about to turn straight north, but there was too much brush. Hell no, and the other one was too far from my other points. The ones I found were right, but I still hate courses that are not self correcting cuz you’re not exactly sure if you’re right. I was pretty confident though. Convinced I won’t be one of those officers shouting about how they’re lost.

Idk if there is a difference in feeling when your friend dies cuz or accident or disease and when your friend is murdered by another human being. I feel so angry that this happened. I was just telling one of my friends on Tuesday about her amazing voice that was the cutest, most country voice In the world. She was really One of those people that you meet and automatically love. oh she was pretty too. I remember last year my best friend/now boyfriend telling me how she was the best looking out of my other friends. I believe it. She had a great smile and amazing hair lol. I have comfort that she is with the Lord, but I still have a lot of anger that the person who did this is still on earth while she is not. I hope to think of her voice often so that I never forget it.
I understand the whole ROTC thing where we have to get practice, but damned if i wasnt squad leader first rotation. Interestingly the freshman in my squad, who somehow got into UNC, act like they can’t read. Dang, I hate having to keep up with them and email/text every night to remind about PT/LAB/etc. We have it at the same time, every time! Can I be a platoon leader first where I like…do nothing? lol
I’m so sick and my boss still wants me to come in for the dinner shift. What horrible restaurant manager do you have to be to tell your employee that has fever, sore throat, running nose, etc. to come in and serve food to people? I can’t wait to quit. I think I’m putting in my notice tonight. At least my papa bear is trying to make me feel better by giving me medicine and making me laugh.
